Missions
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:7-8) For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:13-15) At Celebration Christian Center, we believe that the ‘Great Commission’ in Matthew 28 is our primary responsible as Christians. It is imperative that we present the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to those we meet as we walk through our day. It is also our responsibility to assist those to take the Gospel “to the end of the earth”. We believe it is our responsibility to minister to those is our community as well as assisting others who serve as missionaries. Listed below are the ministries with whom we have chosen to partner.
